5 out of 5 starsBeautiful piece. On wood is a lovely touch. And received in a lovely wrapping with hand-written note from Bryan – these were thoughtful touches that add more character of the artist to the art. Thank you!

5 out of 5 starsThis fantastic miniature is the second of Bryan's paintings in my collection — his work is so inspiring! The quality is top-shelf and the piece is exactly as described. The painting is small in scale but awesomely large in impact!

Frequently asked questions
What is the best way to frame my painting?
Many of my paintings are on 1/8 inch panels, which can fit easily into a standard photo frame found at national retailers. Simply remove the pane of glass and insert the panel. Other paintings are on 1/4 inch panels. These will not fit into a standard photo frame. Instead, they can be framed in a beautiful plein air style frame. You can find them reasonably priced on Jerry’s Artarama online. Panels that are 1 inch thick do not require framing and are ready to hang, and so are 1.5 inch canvas paintings. But you can frame them if you like in floater frames. Ampersand makes quality floater frames. They can be purchased on multiple sites online. Let me know if you need any assistance. Gouache paintings on panels can be framed without glass.
How should I care for my painting?
All my paintings on wood panels and canvas are varnished and sealed to protect them from the environment. I use lightfast pigments, which resist fading, and apply a varnish with UV protection. Despite these protections, it is best to hang your painting out of direct sunlight to make it stay vivid for generations. This doesn’t mean it should be locked in a dark room, but avoiding windows that are always open can be helpful. If for some reason your painting is damaged by smoke, stains, or other elements from the environment, the varnish can be removed and fresh varnish can be applied to restore your painting to its original brilliance. You can take it to a local conservator or contact me and I can help remedy the situation for you.
How do I commission a custom painting based on a photo?
I take select commissions based on subject, size, and availability. If I am available for a commission, I will first create a small study for you at no charge. If you approve of the colors and composition, I will proceed to make the full size painting. I ask for 50% of the cost up front to cover my time and materials. If you approve of the final painting, the remaining balance can be paid and your painting will be shipped. Please contact me if you have questions and wish to discuss pricing.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes indeed. International shipments have a flat shipping rate of $20. But please be advised that your country may charge you an import fee or duty before you can retrieve your painting. Sometimes paintings are kept at the post office until the fee is paid. If it is not paid, the painting will be shipped back to me. Contact your local post office to learn more about fees and how to retrieve your painting. The fees are often not unreasonable. So please don’t let this deter you.
